The Mudpit is a teaching ceramic studio located in the East Williamsburg section of Brooklyn. Owned and operated by Cindy Gatto and Mark Petrin, the Mudpit is a long time dream of ours.

Open since 1999, the Mudpit is a very different and innovative studio. We work in all aspect of clay so you can explore the many aspect of ceramics under one roof. We offer classes in wheelthrowing, tilemaking, hand building and moldmaking. We also rent space, do custom work and have kiln firing services.
